The one I got seems to work perfectly fine, so I can’t knock it too much. I can wiggle the cable around without getting any color dropoff or video changing.
The packaging is almost EXACTLY the same as the bag you get from the Apple Store. The part looks the same, also. But if you pop off the plastic cover over the DVI port, you can see how cheaply this thing is made. And I didn’t just open it to check it out, when I got it, one of the snaps was already open, so I figured I’d look inside before snapping it back shut.
