Sanyo PLV-1080HD High Definition 1080p LCD Home Theater ProjectorI owned a Viewsonic XGA projector before. It took three tries to get a working one without overheating. You can read about it from my past review. Amazon has been amazing to work with. When it was time to replace the Viewsonic for a higher resolution projector to show photos, this Sanyo 1080P projector represented the best value. I was not disappointed.

It worked perfectly from day one. It was a little big to carry it around and did not come with a case. Eventually I found a Gator mixer case from B&H that fits the projector nicely whenever I need to transport it.
